Shirin Hosseinpour, MSc.PT, HBSc.

Registered Physiotherapist

Shirin graduated from McMaster University after receiving a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2009. Shirin has worked in all field in the continuum of care ranging from McMaster Children’s Hospital, Neurocore Physiotherapy and Pilates Centre to home based care. Shirin has a keen interest in treating individuals with neurological and orthopaedic conditions and has experience working with both adults and children. Her professional training includes: Vestibular Rehabilitation, Pilates, Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Therapeutic Taping, Bioness Training (a functional electrical simulation system for dropfoot and Bobath. Shirin is passionate about international health and has spent time volunteering with SMILE organization in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where she assessed children living with disabilities.

Nesa Hosseinpour, M.H.Sc. S-LP, HBSc.

Speech-Language Pathologists Reg. CASLPO

Nesa received her Speech Language Pathology degree from University of Toronto in 2009. Nesa is a strong advocate for early identification and prevention of communication disorders. She is co-founder of Ayana Speech Clinic and has facilitated many workshops on Speech and Language Disorders for Paediatricians, teachers, parents and other rehab professionals. She has a keen interest in childhood fluency disorders, articulation errors and consulting parents on speech delays. Her additional training includes: Fluency Plus program, Lidcombe Stuttering Program, Selective Mutation and Brain Injury Family Intervention Training.
